What do you mean, not original?
Since one of my aim was to earn money online through blogging, I have signed up in different affiliate sites that allows bloggers to meet some companies online who are looking to hire bloggers for review of their products or services.
One of those that I have signed up with is Social Spark, I have been with them since 2008. It was in fact one of those sites that I have signed in during my initial quest to earn through blogging by writing paid posts.
But while it was one of the earliest, two years with them and I still haven’t earned a cent. While I am getting a moderate income from other sites because I do get writing opportunities from them, I have yet to get my first opps from Social Spark.

How NOT to earn Money OnLine
I am sure that you have seen and read those “How to earn Money OnLine” post where you are often bombarded with “get-rich quick” schemes like money will flowing out of your nose. Well, you know that say when something is too good to be true – most probably, it is.
Anyway, this is exactly the opposite. It is HOW NOT TO EARN MONEY ONLINE which is really very easy to do – DO NOTHING.
You do not really earn by doing nothing, you will earn only if you DO SOMETHING, even if others will say otherwise.
What merited this post really, and I am a perfect example, is an email I received from CPALead where I was informed that they are closing my account, for the reason being “due to inactivity.”

aTokens – earn with virtual money
Most of us must at least be aware, if not yet signed up with Entrecard, and that there were many changes implemented since Entrecard was acquired by Ziprunner.
Well, the latest news that I received in my email is that there is an opportunity for us to earn virtual money, and eventually convert them to real money. Sounds like another online money-making opportunity.
This is not from Entrecard, however, but from its sister company atokens.com which is a standalone site outside Entrecard, and maybe functions like the Entrecard.
To be honest, I just signed up and I have not really explored the site yet, and I did not get the free 1o tokens that was mentioned in the email that was sent in. I don’t know, perhaps the offer has elapsed or anything.

Have you infolink yet?
You know, those sometimes distracting double lines that you see on blogs. The one with those sometimes irritating rotating ring showing when you hover your mouse on them, whether accidentally or intentionally.
Yes, that is Infolink, another source of online money for bloggers who wish to monetize their blogs.
I won’t lie, I haven’t earned so much from Infolink. In fact, I have not even reached the minimum payout. But I am glad that Infolink has lowered the minimum payout threshold to $50 from the previous $100.
That would give me a fair chance of getting my first payout soon from Infolink soon… say, in about three more months.
Okay, it is still too long I know. But it is still passive income, and like I said in my post about most online money being overrated, it really takes time and patience to earn real money online.

MyLot: Earning without a blog
While I have been blogging for quite a while, earning a moderate amount of online money every now and then, my first real money online did not come from blogging or writing paid post!
My first online earnings came from Mylot, which only proved that you can earn online without a blog — REAL money online!
For those who do not know what I am talking about, Mylot is an online community, an online forum, where you can talk and discuss with members across on the globe on different topics of interests.
Writing for online money
I admit, I write paid posts for a living. It is actually where I get most of my online earnings.
After being misled, disapointed, and disgusted by all those quick-get-rich-schemes and too-good-to-be-true affiliates, it is in writing reviews that I found my bread and butter…. and the money online here is FOR REAL!
Google hates it
Unfortunately, the Big G does not take too lightly of it and he seems to be not very much amused. So, if he noticed you doing them in your blog, expect demerits… sometimes bringing you down to ground zero level.
Yes, it’s the risk you have to take.
(Many) bloggers doesn’t like it too
One blogger I read months ago slammed all bloggers who do paid reviews in one of his blog post.

Is PayingPost a scam?
I have waited… and I have waited, despite of what happened to me, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt.
But up to this time, I still do not receive any reply nor payments from them. That is why I can’t help but ask this question… Is PayingPost a scam?
Just in case you are wondering, why am I talking about PayingPost and yet the logo shows BlogAdvertisingStore. They started out as PayingPost and later changed their name to BlogAdvertisingStore, perhaps because they sounded too much like Pay Per Post.
Anyway, like I said I have waited long enough for them and I believe this blog post would be more than justified.
I signed up with PayingPost way back in 2008, and from their about and faq pages, I learned that they have a minimum of $100 requirement before they make any payout.
Okay, their rules. No big deal. I can always just think of it as saving some money, and withdrawing one time once I earned enough.
While I signed up in 2008, there were not really much opportunities then. I believe, 2008 ended with only $10 in my account with them.
Again, no big deal. I always believe earning money online is not an overnight thing.

Is online money overrated?
There are lots of Make Money Online blogs on the net, all claiming to make money online. But are these online money for real? Or is online money really overrated?
If you notice, this blog doesn’t have the word ‘Make’ in its name, because as you can see in the tag line (at the top left corner), it doesn’t really claim to make money online, but “just getting my fair share.”
Now to my question of online money being overrated… honestly, I am of the opinion that it is. Sure, maybe some do really earn money, but as to the actual amount they’re earning viz-a-viz with what they claim their blogs are earning… I don’t know.
I’m sure you have seen those pictures, or avatars even, of the blogger flashing a hundred dollar bill which covers half of his face. Or those with a quite a number of bills spread out like a fan… all of which represent their earnings their blogging.
