Is online money overrated?

There are lots of Make Money Online blogs on the net, all claiming to make money online. But are these online money for real? Or is online money really overrated?

If you notice, this blog doesn’t have the word ‘Make’ in its name, because as you can see in the tag line (at the top left corner), it doesn’t really claim to make money online, but “just getting my fair share.”

Now to my question of online money being overrated… honestly, I am of the opinion that it is. Sure, maybe some do really earn money, but as to the actual amount they’re earning viz-a-viz with what they claim their blogs are earning… I don’t know.

I’m sure you have seen those pictures, or avatars even, of the blogger flashing a hundred dollar bill which covers half of his face. Or those with a quite a number of bills spread out like a fan… all of which represent their earnings their blogging.

One of the most common way bloggers earn from their blogs is by means of Google Adsense. Some even claim to make enough to make both ends meet.

But really now, how do you really earn big from Adsense?

Oh, no! Not another online money-making blog?!

Oh, no! Not another online money-making blog!

Oh, Yes! It is!

Actually, this is not really a new blog. It’s an offshoot of my former online money-making blog in blogger.com. The idea was to transfer it to this WordPress blog. But since that supposed-to-be online money-making blog doesn’t really contain much significant post other than Entrecard contests and some writing opportunities, I decided against it.

Instead I will just start anew and work this blog from ground zero up.

So, it is indeed another online money-making blog.

Yup! It is! And I really hope that THIS TIME, it will be.

Unlike my first attempt wherein I really do not have anything much to write and to share, I believe I do have something to share now, after more than a year of earning money online.
